Metro Futures
Metro Futures is a large scale co-design project, which Open Lab works on in partnership with Nexus and Stadler.
Through the course of the deployment, over 20,000 people shared their design choices for the new fleet of Metro trains in Newcastle. As part of the deployment we made various scenarios for people to get an idea of how design options might affect people with mobility issues, visual impairments and designed an immersive environment to help people see the new trains in action.
I worked closely with Nexus and edited the launch video, and teaser video to reveal the new trains. I also helped support the project through photography and created an immersive environment and soundscape for Nexus to use at their partial mockup as part of a wider public consultation
